When I travel thru airports and on airplanes with both kids, especially if solo-parenting, I find myself thinking about the Kim and Kylie of it all. It usually happens when seated with my three year old who doesn’t want to be sitting at all. And doesn’t really understand that the aisle is not his personal race-track. Where he is meant to race down and get congratulatory hi-fives from every person along the way.
I think about how they don’t know the unique hell of traveling commercial with kids & strollers & luggage & snacks, please tell me you didn’t forget the snacks!
Or pushing all the gear thru miles of airport, then lugging it onto a shuttle & off again to wait for a ride-share driver that will cost you more than a family meal at a very nice restaurant.
